Error updating database cydia
You can self-sign your code with "ldid -S" on a jailbroken device.
There is also a ldid version for Mac OS X at Please keep updating this thread with your progress - I will do the same.
I then manually created an IPA file and serve it through a web server with the itms-services URL.
Installation fails with ""App" could not be installed at this time" When looking at the console, it says : program is checking for valid signature when installing application.
You can use Cydia Impactor if you need to un-jailbreak an 8.1-8.4 device without restoring. Since Cydia update I keep getting this recurring error: encountered a section with no package:header this always happens at reloading data point and the page the info is on is headed "Database" you may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems. 1st i don't know where to get apt-get and 2nd from where and how do i run it. Apt-get is part of cydia's package installer, you already have it. Let me know what it does, we'll go from whats the best way to remove them fom cydia.
It's telling you that you need to open terminal and type the command "apt-get update" but I don't understand why cydia can't update itself, unless your install is hosed somehow. Do i do it through ifile or from where i added them they were added via cydia/manage/add source, when i tried to do it via the latter i seem to get stuck in reloading data!
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2) so i opened the file in IE explorer, found line 2568, and it appears normal normal.
Error occurs when one uses the "last ditch" method for preventing baseband updates on the i Phone 4.Bear with me here as I'd pretty new and still learning.I just wanted to create a tweak that hooks into a Control Center method so when a control center toggle is pressed, an application is opened. As part of the jailbreak detection I am checking if cydia app can be reached through opening its URL scheme.Normally, there would be no way to bypass this, but what the i Phone checks for is a "bad" response. If it doesn't receive a response at all, then it doesn't reject the app, however. So what you want to do here is probably create a custom DNS server, that will list the two Apple servers as two other servers.
