Internet explorer tools for validating xml and viewing xslt output
The XML Editor allows you to associate an XSLT style sheet with an XML document, perform the transformation, and view the output. The resulting output from the XSLT transformation is displayed in a new document window. I have been trying to test the XSL functionality in Internet Explorer 6, but instead of an HTML kinda output of a XML file I still get to see the raw code in the browser.Strangely the same code shows perfect output in HTML format on Firefox.matches the format described in the DTD A document can be well-formed, but not valid Download a DTD validator for Internet Explorer IE Tools for Validating XML and Viewing XSLT Output Download URL: Family Id=D23C1D2C-1571-4D61-BDA8-ADF9F6849DF9&displaylang=en The DTD may be defined within the document (internal), or it may be a separate file, an external DTD An external DTD may be used by several documents or Web sites A document may only have one DTD, but may use both and internal and external DTD Internal Example External Example View the DTD The usual way to store a DTD is in an external file with the extension You may use the keyword SYSTEM and the URL or the actual DTD statements, or you may include both The URL may include a pathname or a relative path name Public DTDs The SYSTEM keyword is used for a private DTD You can use the PUBLIC keyword for DTDs that are created outside of the XML document and that are for public use Multiple DTDs You can combine external and internal DTD's, but make sure that the elements are not defined twice If an element is defined twice, the internal declaration overrides the external one If the internal DTD is not valid, it will be ignored EMPTY Empty elements are ones that must not contain any data in them The parser will reject any content in an empty element as invalid This might be used for situations where one organization is creating data and another organization is adding additional data at a later time Example: Adding a new customer using only name and address information.
