In 2015, the Start Talking program expanded nationally!The new Start Talking curriculum from loveisrespect, a project of Break the Cycle and the National Domestic Violence Hotline, is an innovative step forward in dating violence prevention education and creating cultures of healthy relationships.
Safe Dates can be used as a dating abuse prevention tool for both male and female middle- and high-school students. From peer-led discussions, opportunities for participants to contribute their opinions and interactive tools integrated throughout the program, students will have the chance to define relationships in their terms and discover for themselves what it means to have a safe and healthy relationship.How Start Talking works: Special thanks goes to MTV and Lifetime for donating their content to your classroom!
